• Excavation: Use professional machinery to clear and level the ground to create the pool's footprint. 
• Foundation and structural support: Reinforce the excavation with steel or concrete footings. Lay plumbing and electrical conduits before pouring the foundation. 
• Pool construction: Depending on the type of pool, the construction process may involve:
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plastic: Mold the plastic into the desired shape, lower it into the hole, and fill with sand 
  • Vinyl-lined: Assemble a frame wall around the perimeter, lay sand in the bottom, and secure the vinyl lining 
  • Gunite: Lay a rebar framework grid, spray with a gunite mixture, trowel smooth, and let cure 
  • Concrete: Pour concrete into timber formwork
